During the course of three days and nights on the outskirts of a metropolis, 17-year-old Ema breaks up with Viktor, has a love-affair with future pilot Karel and meets the only real man of her story - a taxi driver without a taxi. In the imbroglio of relationships the characters and their emotions meet by chance and fatefully pass by. Girlie is the director's feature-length debut and the first film made in Central and Eastern Europe using HDTV CineAlta technology
