Synopsis

It is now three years into the War and there is a shortage of food, particularly in the towns. Young Polykarp buys a fatted goose in a village which he needs in order to entertain his betrothed and his friends at an engagement party. His attempts to get the goose across various checkpoints into the town and his flight from his persecutors evoke all sort of comic situations.

Note

The film was never shown since it was underexposed due to lack of light on the set. The film materials are believed lost.
