According to the Cinematographical bulletin no.10 from the 1st of January 1918, the film contains the following allegory: "As the plague spreads throughout the Czech Lands and with crawling steps moves ever closer to the capital city, a man-at-arms stands in the road before the Vyšehrad gate. He is powerless against the plague; he falls to the ground, struck down by the infection. The film contains local objects of interest, there are many bewitching shots here of our hundred-spired Prague, the mother of the cities." The film materials are believed lost.
