It is a year since Jarka and Věra first fell in love and they hope that their relationship will remain constant although they argue from time to time. On one particular occasion, it seems they will definitely part. They make up, however, and soon announce their engagement. When they manage to find a cosy flat, a joyful wedding takes place. The newly-weds leave the wedding banquet and go to their new home. "Věra fears her wedding night in her innocent simplicity and chastity. Every beginning is difficult. After playful teasing and cavorting Věra falls asleep in Jarka's arms and the night of love covers their happiness with its wings." (According to promotional material issued at the time the film was made.)
