A reporter who is witness to a murder wants to write a sensational report for his magazine. So he goes in search of the murderer on his own but in due course he is suspected as being the murderer. He is followed by the police and, after a number of adventures, he manages not only to reveal the real murderer but also to win the heart of the girl of his dreams. (According to an article appearing in the press at the time the film was made.)
The film was made in Prague in a Czech production, however, most of the film-makers and actors were German, Czech actors appeared only in supporting roles. Part of the film includes daring chases along the rooftops, climbing down the walls of houses and jump from the highest railway bridge arch. The film materials are believed lost.
