A melodrama from a mountain setting.
Only some of the exterior scenes at and around Ružomberok were shot. Persistent bad weather in January 1935 meant filming was abandoned and the project was never resumed. It was to have been made in three versions – Czech, German and English. Producer of the English version was to be J. H. Zarovich and Katrin Karina and Fred Bulín were to act in it. The director was Homer McCatrick. The producer of the German version was to have been Freddy Altman and the director M. Friedländer. Production director of all three versions was to have been Wolf Salus. The film materials are believed lost.
