The commentary to the film points out how many people on trains make it difficult for other passengers. They destroy the seats, steal parts of the train and leave rubbish in their wake. Others are inconsiderate towards their fellow passengers in their language and behaviour. Some people try to travel without paying and even bribe the guard if they are discovered. Finally the film warns of a highly dangerous practice - jumping onto a moving train.
During the filming, cameraman Josef Rudolf Zika died tragically on June 7, 1948, when a locomotive fell off the roof near city Svitavy.
