In the office of the factory owner, Arthur reproaches his father - the industrialist, for drinking cognac. At that moment, the secretary Filip announces the arrival of a Gestapo officer. He reproaches the industrialist because his factory is not efficient enough in the production that is so important for the victory of the Reich. After he leaves, Arthur becomes hysterical because he doesn't want to lose his future property - the factory.
