A girl emerges from memory and her image returns in the kaleidoscope of other shots: dance shoes, a photograph of his mother, sculptures, drawings, a boy playing with dice, a woman rinsing and hanging her washing, the young man kisses her, a girl buttoning up her blouse, another walking a snow-bound city, cars, men drinking in a pub, a lit fireplace, the young man's marriage ceremony, he is leaving with his wife the town hall, behind them is with the girl from his memories...
