It is a dark, rainy day and a married couple is having lunch in the empty restaurant of a small hotel. Two people chat at the reception desk: the waitress and the receptionist. The waitress clears the table, the husband reads the paper, and his young wife is incredibly bored. She looks through the window and notices a cat seeking shelter from the rain. After the young receptionist offers her an umbrella, the woman tries to catch the cat and fails. The receptionist finally manages to catch the cat a short while later. Now the cat won't let the woman stroke it. All it cares for is the food offered by the waitress. The woman goes on being incredibly bored.
