Young Eva chats with her Yugoslav friend Joca over a glass of wine about everything that connects their countries. Eva's grandmother recalled her sojourns in Dalmatia and her romantic affair with the local Mário for her whole life. Eva soon begins to behave coldly to her Czech friend due to her developing relationship with Joca. The shy dates and first kisses of the young couple are combined with documentary shots of many world politicians and accompanied by a romantic song about sea. Eva's Czech friend then comes to visit her, bringing news that Joca's girlfriend Bojana is coming to Prague. They all meet at Prague Central Railway Station. Bojana is accompanied by her new boyfriend, and the further development of all the confused and intermingled relationships remains unclear.
