The soldier Petr Košler sets off from the station directly to his girlfriend Dana. He does not know he has been noticed by his father who tells Petr's mother about his arrival. In vain, Petr walks in front of the house in which Dana lives. He meets only her rude brother Pavel. He does not like Petr, he wants his sister to choose one of his friends. When the evening comes, Petr finally meets Dana and she invites him in. They spend a love night. Meanwhile his parents wait for him in vain. The unhappy mother goes to Dana's place at night. She knows where the girl lives. She also does not want her son to date Dana. In the early morning Petr is getting ready to leave. Pavel finds out that Petr has spent the night with his sister. He knows Petr is in the army and he must have left the service secretly, so he calls the army police, they come and escort Petr away. Petr's mother witnesses the situation, hidden behind trees. Dana and Petr get angry with Pavel and he, deeply inside himself, feels he behaved as a sneak.
