A young woman travelling alone in a train hears the voice of a real estate agent in her mind. It appears that in an attempt to raise the rent or at least get a commission he has claimed that she can't stay on in her rented flat. The girl has lent it to a friend for all the time she was studying abroad, and the friend has been holding parties there. She enters the flat, which is in a terrible state after one of the parties. The living-room is full of sleeping party-goers, and so the woman takes refuge in the bathroom. She remembers a similar situation from when she was a small girl: she and her mother were thrown out of their flat and only allowed to take a few of their belongings with them. Memories and current experiences interpenetrate and accompanying them, we hear the doomladen ideas of one of the guests on a world where people will even have to pay for air. Only those who can pay the extortionate entrance charge for a place in an anti-nuclear shelter will survive...
