Synopsis

A young woman laden down with parcels and shopping bags is running for shelter in the rain. She finally takes shelter under a roof, but a car immediately draws up and dirty water from a puddle splashes her light-coloured coat. A young man gets out of the car and apologises, but the woman is upset and the two both have a slight quarrel. The man lives in the house in front of which he has parked. He obviously likes the woman and invites her into his home to get dry. She also likes him and accepts the offer. From a photograph of a theatre performance on the shelf in the living room library, the woman recognises that the man is an actor. He enters the room with two cups of coffee and the two sit down at a small table.

Note

The school excercise was based on an episode from a feature film made for television that was being shot at the time at the Czechoslovak Television studio in Ostrava.
