PassionSynopsis
A young man comes to a chapel of a local chateau to give the last kiss to a dead young woman lying in a coffin full of flowers. From the woman's neck he removes a jewel, which he puts in his pocket. He himself had given her the necklace with a red stone some time ago, when he was courting the woman. She, however, could not make up her mind, because she had had another suitor before - a young romantic man, happy, although apparently poorer than the new suitor. The new man had won as he provoked in the woman many passionate fantasies full of wild coach rides and sparkling wine. The man, however, was not true to her and kept constantly flirting with other women. The girl, who had seemingly taken no notice of his betrayals, suddenly ended her life jumping out of the windows. The man, who comes to say the last good bye and takes his gift back, soon leaves.
