A young clerk, Kamil Morávek, takes fancy to his young colleague called Margit. She, however, takes absolutely no notice of him. It is the manager, whose interest is most important to the young secretary. Kamil with a beret on his head takes a train home to spend the Easter with his parents. He knows that his father will, as usual, ask him: And what about women, son? A girl with a huge suitcase enters the compartment and Kamil, with great difficulties, helps her to put it on a rack. Morávek, the father, welcomes his son home with a shot of slivovitz and immediately poses his question: And what about women, son? Kamil talks about his lover, a role played by Margit, and her jealous sister, whom in Kamil's fantasy represents the girl from the train. He himself is in his dreams portrayed as an elegant and nonchalant man. The girls, who are competing for his love, end up quarrelling and fighting. The father really enjoys the story, but suddenly jumps - didn't the girls break Kamil's vase of cut glass?...
