A young man amazedly looks around a cemetery where he has woken up. A peculiar creature is throwing dice on a tomb. It is a ghoul – a demon which feeds on dead bodies. He introduces him to the vampire Boris and, as it follows from their conversation, the vampire is in a way the young man’s father. When the youth fell ill in 1970, he was treated basically for free by a physician who attended his place only after dark, and he recognizes the doctor in the old vampire. The young man despises the old and worn out ghosts and recommends them to modernize both their clothing and manners. He learns that some “blow” occurred recently and the people who survived withdrew somewhere under the ground. A young werewolf comes to the cemetery boasting that he has a new litter of cubs from his bitch. Like the ghoul and the vampire, he is starving although he catches a rabbit from time to time. The overconfident newcomer gets on the threesome’s nerves. They eventually agree that he is an imprudent fellow and that he could serve them as food for the moment.
