Honza fastens his tie. It seems that he wants to leave the flat, but he suddenly notices that his wife Martina is setting the table for a special meal. But he has no idea why. He discreetly tries to take something hidden from a bookcase. However, he is clumsy and few books fall down from the bookshelf. Martina runs over and finds out to her relief that nothing serious happened. But she notices the rapid movement with which Honza hides a small box in the pocket of his discarded jacket. When the man runs to pick up the phone in the next room, she peeps into the box, although somewhat ashamed. The box contains a ring. Honza gives his colleague some instructions on the phone. He then silently hangs up and dials a new number, apologizing to his attractive lover for the slight delay. Yes, he has the ring ready, and yes, he will certainly tell his wife about the divorce… The wife is totally unaware of his intentions; she is, on the contrary, moved and calls him to the table with a smile – he, after all, has not forgotten about the fifth anniversay of their marriage! Martina even apologizes for her nosiness which made her find out that he had bought her a ring. Honza, who in fact has no reason to divorce the kind and calm-spirited wife, then rings the goldsmith and comissions another one – the same – from him.
