A sequel to the film Cathy and the Ghosts. This time Cathy must protect her House of Horrors and defend it from her parents lest they should turn it into the family dwelling.
Ghosts Berta, Elvíra and Caligari visited the exhibition place at Exhibition Site, which they remembered from their last visit of Prague a hundred years ago. But Kačenka calls them back, thanks to the pendulum. Her parents want to rebuild the House of Horror into a villa and they want to sell the dummies. The little girl, together with her ghostly dummies, makes up a plan. She invites the notary, Weber, to check the conditions of the gift – installation of the attraction in operating condition. She tries to get a connection to the old man, Swoboda, who moved to the USA to be with his brother. Berta, dressed up as a nurse, sneaks a look into the hospital register, but there is only the old man's address in Vienna. Berta is changed by a spell into a dog and she may stay with Kačenka. She tells her parents that she is keeping an eye on a dog, who belongs to the neighbour. Elvíra fell in love with her father's brother, Pavel, and she tries to get rid of her "competitor," the teacher, Wali. Pavel is directing amateur actors in his fairy-tale play about the secret of the Krucenberk castle. Wali is very inept in the role of the princess. Swoboda, who did not like it in America, finds out that in Vienna they are going to build a gambling house instead of the House of Horror. He sets out to Kačenka. The fairy tale is changed by spells of the ghosts into a horror-show, moreover, the hairy Berta infests the audience with fleas. But everything ends well. The old man Swoboda agrees with Kačenka and her parents that he will take his gift back. The renovated House of Horror appears, thanks to the spells in Vienna, in its original place. Elvíra forgets about Pavel and she falls in love again.
Based on the co-production TV series, two films for cinema were made: Cathy and the Ghosts and Cathy and Those Ghosts Again. The individual parts of the series have German titles: 1. Das Schloss in Wien, 2. Die Zauberuhr, 3. Spass ohne Grenzen, 4. Das seltsame Haus, 5. Spurensuche, 6. Unsichtbare Untermieter, 7. Das grosse Theater, 8. Bitte recht schrecklich!
