A commercial promoting the Telefunken 500 Superhet radio receiver.
Notes – tones – float through space. They are seized by an antenna and poured into a bath of waves. A shaker then eliminates crackling and an electromagnet eliminates failures. An air stream cleanses the notes and gargling finally produces a clear sound. The notes are then sorted and fall into carriages labelled after various radio stations. The carriages line up vertically, creating the sound range of the device.
