A cartoon comedy about the pranks of a small mischievous bunny when decorating Easter eggs.
The rabbits are diligently preparing for Easter. The smallest one is bored by the work and thinks it better to invent ways to make it easier for himself and the others. The old rabbit disapproves of his ideas and views the bunny's behaviour as unacceptable disobedience. The small bunny can enjoy all kinds of decorating of the eggs and play with them, but all his efforts meet the misunderstanding of the old rabbit, although the other rabbits like them. This, however, does not discourage the little bunny. The arrival of spring puts an end to all the disputes and the rabbits bring out the coloured eggs to the awakening nature.
The film was distributed in Czechoslovakia in 1947 with Czech opening titles. The copy with German opening titles is considered missing. The film was also distributed under the title Small but Mature. Filming the cartoon employed the colour negative Agfacolor.
