This documentary poetic essay is an auteur narration by the director Vladimír Drha about an ordinary town house on the outskirts of Prague, where he spent his childhood. The creator combines old pictures with shots of the condition of the house and its immediate surroundings (courtyard, garden, etc.) from 1967. He works with the people who lived or live in the house in a similar way. We can see their photos and commentaries, mainly of old women who spent their lives in the house. Above all, we follow sad human destinies that are influenced by both world wars. Everything is balanced by an expressive nostalgic commentary. However, there are children living in the house, so the story of an ordinary apartment building can continue...
