The first Czech 3D animated long-feature film takes place in medieval Prague, a town full of ghosts, where legends are being born, and which is just beginning to take on its majestic form. The main characters – a young villager named Kuba and his plain-spoken Goat – are caught up in the construction of Charles Bridge and the famous horologe. Their paths cross with Mydlář the executioner, and a legendary hairy ghost gives them no rest either. Kuba meets the worldly-wise city girl Máca and – despite his Goats jealous ill-will – falls in love with her. Kubas story is intertwined with that of the student Matěj from the mysterious Faust House.
