From 1990 to 1995, the Virgin Mary appeared to two girls in the eastern Slovak hamlet of Litmanová. The film looks at the story of one of these girls, Iveta Hudáková, who would lead processions of the believers to Mount Zvir and preach the message of the Mother of God. Instead of exploring the truthfulness of the vision, the film offers the personal story of a visionary, based on reminiscences and period footage. Living with a stigma is not easy, and Iveta goes through various phases of self-acceptance marked by feelings of duty, guilt and reconciliation.
