A tragicomedy derived from the events of 21 August 1968, when the then Czechoslovakia was invaded by the “friendly forces" of the Warsaw Pact. The film was based on the director's theatre play and tells the story of a Polish tank that gets lost in the Czech lands during the invasion. Everything is the fault of the dilatoriness of the Lady Bug (name of their tank) unit, which set out from the Polish barracks last and immediately got lost over the border. They made their way to a small town and unfortunately the tank rammed into a pub where they were just ending the celebration of the station head Kulka who was retiring. This event caused a happy and sad chain of events of the Polish tank units and Czech townspeople.
