Summary

A film thematically linked to the director's previous autobiographical film Night Talks with Mother (2001) and his first feature-length film Diamonds of the Night (1964). The film is the personal experience and virtual imagination of Jan Němec: what takes place in the conscious and subconscious of a man under anaesthesia during an extended heart operation? Is there a tunnel to the unconscious? Why exactly is George W. Bush flying to Prague? The helpless hand attempts to grasp reality. The painter Edward Much advanced painting with his picture The Scream (1893): he depicted the invisible - anxiety from the modern world.
