Karel Samuel, nicknamed Set by his friends, plays vibraphone in a small theatre. In the meantime, his friends wait for him at a weekend cottage. When the performance is over, Set goes to meet them in the cottage. But a little girl on a bicycle appears in front of his motorcycle. Set snatches his machine to the side. The little girl survives the collision, but Set dies. At the graveside, his broken-hearted friends play him his favourite song.
