Grinder František and the hefty Jakub both make amorous advances to the good-looking tramp Josefina. Josefina is prepared to go with the one who proves stronger. Jakub wins the fight but when he tries to leave with Josefina in his cart the horse bolts. František manages to calm it down, finally winning both Josefina and Jakub's cart.
