The taxi driver hasn't even time to finish his coffee in the snack-bar when a young woman comes up with a request. She wants to impress her sweetheart, who has just bought a new car. On her request, the taxi driver parks his beautiful new Tatra 603 where her boyfriend can see it, and then opens the door for the girl and kisses her hand. The girl stares wide-eyed at the motor tricycle, the so-called tattercraft, and her sweetheart waiting by it. The couple of lovers who are the taxi-driver's next customers end up quarrelling. He intervenes and helps them make up. Then he advises his next client, the tired constructor of an electronic processor who has spent a couple of days desperately trying to find what is wrong with his machine, to focus on the details, the interface and the like. The scientist falls asleep and dreams of the taxi driver entering his laboratory in a white coat and putting his processor with a single gesture of his hand into operation. The last client is Mr Kalina, a man dressed up as Santa Claus who is taking presents to his little daughter. His beloved Hanička lives with her mother, his ex-wife. He never meets her in the end because her mother has moved out together with the girl.
