The pensioner Hanousek is an agile old man, he always has something up his sleeve and always has something to do. One day he lends his son money for a new car and the latter invites him on a Sunday outing. Hanousek is looking forward to this and thus cancels a hard-fought job as a Prague guide. When he calls on his son on Sunday, however, he finds that his place in the car is occupied by his son's boss.
