Unfinished film.
Three short stories.
Thanks to the political liberalization of the 1960s in what was then Czechoslovakia, Barrandov Film Studios was able to get to the production programme a film composed of three short stories, created independently on each other, which dealt with the fates of Czechoslovak political prisoners of the 1950s. An opportunity was given to three young directors making their début. The subsequent return of conservative Communists to the head of the Czechoslovak State Film company, however, made finishing the movie impossible. Shooting the three short stories, each in various stages of production, was halted from one day to another and the film material itself was later probably destroyed. The film materials are believed lost.
