Unfinished film.
The future. Empty countryside. An old trailer stands by the roadside among car wrecks. A mother prepares food by the fire, and her son Arcadio shaves. They are disturbed by a convoy of passing cars. The last car, with a young tourist and a girl, stops by the trailer. The young man asks Arcadio to bring him water for the overheated engine. Meanwhile he freshens himself up at the well. Arcadio starts talking to the girl, whom the young man only gave a ride, and she secretly gives him his a newspaper. She advises him to read the newspaper and leave while there is still time. Before continuing the journey with the young man, she gives Arcadio her last piece of jewellery as a keepsake – an earring. After their departure, Arcadio briefly looks at the newspaper and throws it into the fire. In the fire, there is a newspaper article about the beginning of a great war and an apocalypse. Arcadio adds the earring to his collection and returns to shaving. He dips the shaving brush into an old cup, which is the Holy Grail. (Based on the original script)
